NEW OPPORTUNITY: JFA Office Administrator (Part Time)

JFA Office Administrator

* 25 hours per week
* National role working for an Olympic sport
* A small, dynamic team establishing a national office in Canberra

The Judo Federation of Australia (JFA) is the governing body responsible for judo in Australia. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the JFA Office Administrator is primarily responsible for the smooth running of our new national office based at the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) Combat Centre.

In this start up position, the responsibilities are many and varied including all activities to ensure our national office is set up appropriately and runs efficiently. As we build our team, we are looking to create a professional yet relaxed environment. We take our work seriously but we also want to build a fun team culture where we support each other.

You will be the face of our national office and will therefore need to establish and maintain positive working relationships with our key stakeholders including the Australian Sports Commission, AIS Facilities, State Member organisations, coaches, athletes and key external suppliers.

You will bring your administrative and organisational expertise to our team to develop administrative policies and processes, prepare general correspondence, undertake regular reporting requirements, manage our website and database and co-ordinate our office communications.

In creating this role, we are flexible as to how the 25 hours will be structured across the week. For example, it may be 9.30am to 2.30pm each weekday or 12pm to 5pm four days a week. Once the suitable candidate is identified, we will discuss this in more detail with the aim of creating a mutually workable schedule.
