Call for Nominations: National Referee Committee

Recently we have been reviewing the scope and responsibilities of the National Referee Committee (NRC). We are now calling for expressions of interest for members who wish to be considered for this committee.

The primary purpose of the National Referee Committee is the selection, support and supervision of referees for JFA sanctioned events, as well as the maintenance of accurate records of all nationally accredited referees.

There will be four members on this committee, including one person who will fulfill the role of Chair.

If you would like to be considered for the NRC please read the attached scoping document, which outlines the responsibilities and requirements, and then provide your expression of interest to paula.ward@ausjudo.com.au. Your expression of interest should clearly outline the skills and experience you will bring to the NRC, as well as why you are interested in joining this committee. If you have a particular interest in chairing the NRC please include this in your expression of interest.

Expressions of interest must be received by Friday 15 May 2015.

Please note the current Referees' Commission will continue to function and fulfill its responsibilities until such time that the announcement regarding the new NRC is made. This annoucement will not be made until after the Nationals in June 2015.

The current committee members are able to submit an expression of interest to join the NRC.
