Oceania Open: The war clouds are gathering, train with the best and spread the word!
Australia is hosting its biggest judo tournament since the 2000 Olympics. Right on your own back doorstep is an opportunity to witness the biggest judo seen downunder. This year’s Oceania Open is again being hosted in the beautiful NSW city of Wollongong (13-14 November) and will be followed by a 1-day international training camp on Sunday 15 November.
This is your opportunity to not only get along and watch 200 of the world’s best judoka fight it out for vital World Ranking Points on their Road to Rio, but also your chance to train with them.
On Sunday 15 November, there will be an international training camp that has been opened up to emerging judoka* who are out to impress national selectors. So print out the attached posters for your dojo, and get a bunch of friends together. Make a club pilgrimage to the biggest judo event you will see in this country for a very long time.
