National Coaching Accreditation Scheme (NCAS) Redevelopment

National Coaching Accreditation Scheme (NCAS) Redevelopment

The JFA is in the process of redeveloping our National Coaching Accreditation Scheme (NCAS) courses, with the involvement of a National Working Group made up of a representative from each State & Territory.

The National Working Group gathered in Melbourne on May 7/8 for a weekend of brainstorming and workshopping as part of this process.

There was plenty of revamping, new ideas and robust discussion to come up with the best options for the future direction of the Judo NCAS program.

Thanks to facilitator Robyne Dawson for leading the process and Shane Alvisio for representing the national body during this important process. However the biggest thanks goes to the representatives on the National Working Group for giving up more of their time to ensure this process was given the best chance to achieve its desired outcomes.

The process will be completed by the end of June and then presented to the Australian Sports Commission for approval of the new courses and framework.
