JFA Director Appointment - Sarah Richardson
The JFA Board is pleased to announce the appointment of Sarah Richardson as an Appointed Director, replacing Belinda Zordan who recently resigned from her position.
Sarah brings a strong background having held multiple board director roles across many industries combined with governance, business, accounting and liberal arts training. She also has an impressive professional background, with particular expertise in digital strategy, marketing/sales/fundraising and stakeholder change management.
Sarah possesses strategic, financial and corporate governance skills from three decades of board and executive experience in not-for-profits, SMEs and multinationals in Australia, France and the US. She is a current Board Member of Australian University Sport, indigenous health entity Filling The Gap and advocacy peak body Parkinson's Australia; Director of her own SME consultancy; and former Board Member of an entrepreneurial eastern seaboard health sector food supplier, Sydney wine tech start up and Western Australian mid-size disability services not-for-profit.
Holding a BA, BCA, MBA (Hons) and GAICD, Sarah has received multiple awards for her not-for-profit, consultancy and corporate work. She is a member of Australian Marketing Institute (Fellow, CPM, Awards Judge), Women on Boards, Australian Fulbright Alumni Association and University of Chicago Alumni Association (Founder and former Chair, Perth Branch).
Sarah will be a huge asset to the JFA and she is looking forward to meeting and working with the Australian Judo community.
