The National Grading Committee on behalf of Judo Australia is offering a 4th Dan and above grading for eligible members as part of the 2024 Australian Championships to be held at the Gold Coast on Friday 7 June 2024 as part of the schedule of events at Nationals.

Members considering this option will need to meet the following guidelines.

1. Be a current financial member of Judo Australia. 

2. Fully complete the relevant National Grading Policy Application form.

3. Ensure that the application is supported and fully signed off by the member state or territory.

 

4. Ensure that the application includes the eligible pathway, time in grade and specific criteria relevant to the grade being sought as outlined in the National Grading Policy.

JUDO AUSTRALIA DAN GRADING FEES 

Dan Grade: (1st dan – 5th dan) $100 AUD
Master Grade: (6th dan – 7th dan) $200 AUD
Master Grade: (8th dan – 9th dan) $300 AUD
Master Grade: (10th dan) No payment required
Ratification from another country: $100 AUD

LATE APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. 

 

Previously approved  applicants who were unable to present due to COVID-19 or injury, need to update and resend their application to grade so that you can be included and that an appropriately qualified grading panel can be organised.
