MELBOURNE INTERNATIONAL JUDO OPEN: 2025
Judo Victoria will welcome players from around Australia and overseas to contest the 2025 Melbourne International Judo Open, taking place April 4-6 at Broadmeadows.
With competition in a wide range of divisions across kata and shiai, including Adaptive judo, MIJO is part of Judo Australia's National Event Series. Up for grabs are valuable points as part of the National Points System, which helps inform selection of the National team.
Entries are now open on Judo Manager, with standard entry closing March 21, and late entries on April 3. Download the Event Outline for details of weigh in, eligibility to compete and a full schedule.

3-5pm: Trial Weigh In (at Venue) (Cadets, Juniors, Seniors)
4pm: Judges briefing, kata warm up
5pm-7pm: Official Weigh In (at Venue) (Cadets, Juniors, Seniors)
6pm: Kata Competition
April 5:
8.30am: Shiai competition - Cadets, Juniors, Seniors (including Adaptive players.)
12pm-2pm: Trial Weigh-In (at Venue) (U11-U15, Veterans, Senior M/W Kyu)
2pm-4pm: Official Weigh-In (at Venue) (U11-U15, Veterans, Senior M/W Kyu)
April 6:
8.30am: Shiai competition - Under 11, Under 13, Under 15 B/G, followed by Veterans, and Senior M/W Kyu grades.
SPECTATORS
Single day: $10 Adults (Children & Pensioners free)
Full tournament: $15 Adult (Children & Pensioners free)
