2025 PACIFIC MINI GAMES
Koror, Palau: 29 June - 9 July 2025

Australian judoka have been invited to participate the 2025 Pacific Mini Games taking place in the western Pacific nation of Palau, with a focus on developing young talent with half of the athletes required to be under 21.

ELIGIBILITY
​
Judo has been invited to field a team of nine female and nine male athletes across seven weight divisions. Selection will be informed by the National Points Table (as at 31 March, 2025), with athletes under 21 years of age given priority for this important development event.​
​
To be eligible to represent Australia, all athletes must satisfy the following requirements:

be at least 15 years old (Cadet) and a 2kyu (brown belt).

be an Australian citizen and hold a current Australian passport or have special permission from the IJF to represent Australia;

not have any outstanding debt with Judo Australia or CombatAUS;
-
have a history of supporting national programs (training camps, international tours etc);

have not by their actions or omissions brought themselves, Judo Australia, CombatAUS, or the Australian Team into disrepute or censure;

be a financial member of Judo Australia

hold a valid IJF ID Card.

COSTS
​
This event will be self-funded by the selected athletes, with costs including but not limited to flights, accommodation, and uniform purchase. Total cost is estimated to be around $3000 - 5000 depending on departure airports (all flights direct to Palau from Australia leave from Brisbane).
