The past 2 years have proven challenging for our athletes to compete overseas. For reason and restrictions out of our control, the opportunities for international competition have been limited.
As we look forward and our communities and country open up – we are excited to prepare a team for the 2022 Birmingham Commonwealth Games. We acknowledge that selection opportunities have been limited, so would like to invite non-categorised athletes to express their interest to attend international competitions during the remainder of the Commonwealth Games selection period.
Attendance at events will be subject to athletes meeting eligibility criteria and agreed funding arrangements between the athletes and Judo Australia.
