Japanese Kodokan Club Coaches to visit Australia in January 2024.

With thanks to the Australia-Japan Foundation club coaches and members of Judo Australia across Australia will be invited to attend a once in a lifetime seminar with 3 highly recommended coaches from the Kodokan in Japan, well known as the spiritual home of Judo across the world.


Hosted by Judo Australia in conjunction with the Illawarra Judo Club, Wollongong NSW the knowledge and wealth to be passed to our Australian Club Coaches is something not to be missed. The exchange will be held January 19-21, 2024. FULL DETAILS HERE.

IWANAGA Kento, 5-dan


Judo Australia Head of Operations Shane Alvisio hopes the knowledge gained will filter directly back to grassroots Judo across Australia. 'To have the caliber of coaches here in Australia from the Kodokan teaching our local coaches the art of Judo is something not to be missed, I will be taking part myself'.


Club coaches and Judo Australia Members from across Australia are invited to attend this special event with positions at the Coaching Seminar now open. Cost of the Seminar is $40.
