Judo Australia National Junior and Cadet Coaches

JA are seeking expressions of interest from coaches for our Junior and Cadet National Teams.

The group of coaches will assist in delivering the high-performance program within their age group, with the some of following key responsibilities:

  • Participating in national training camps and international events

  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of a high performing culture for athletes

  • Build relationships with Personal/Club coaches regarding the preparing of athlete

  • Assist in creating and monitoring of athletes and their development, engaging in high performance opportunities provided by the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) and the Combat Institute of Sport (CIA)

Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Ability to work as part of a team

  • Efficient and effective leadership

  • Ability to build relationships with both athletes and personal/club coaches

  • Has as a minimum State Coaching experience and a current Senior Coaching qualification

  • Must comply with JA policies and uphold the values of JA
