Ready to head west?

Judoka on a high from the Olympic action can register now to compete in the Adelaide International Open, taking place at the The Lights Community and Sports Centre in Lightsview, SA, on August 24.

Proudly hosted by JudoSA as part of Judo Australia's National Event Series,

registration is now open for all divisions: at Smoothcomp for Kata, and on Judo Manager for Shiai.

Official weigh-in for all events can be undertaken at your choice of locations:

  • ~ Friday, 6pm-7.30pm at the venue: The Lights Community and Sports Centre at 244 East Parkway, Lightsview

  • ~ Friday, 6pm-7pm at the Adelaide University Judo Club, 34 Phillips Street, Thebarton

The Adelaide University weigh in session follows directly on from the final seminar being delivered by South Korean judo international, Cho Gu-Ham, an Olympic silver medallist in Tokyo, and multiple world champion in the U100 division. Tickets are still available to get on the mat with Cho and learn from this giant of the sport.

See you in Adelaide! (Beautiful Himeji Garden in Peppermint Park offers judoka and their families the perfect recovery spot).
